Kathleen gave some great tips for parking reformers, shared some eye-opening information about Honolulu&#8217;s climate action goals, and answered a lot of questions. Professor Donald Shoup makes several appearances. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Wr3iSDFrUfw\">You can watch the recording here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dallas Holds Hearing on Reforms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Zoning Ordinance Advisory Committee in Dallas, TX held a pair of hearings to get public comment on potential parking reforms. Parking Reform Network member Nathaniel Barrett delivered a pair of twitter threads (<a href=\"https:\/\/threadreaderapp.com\/thread\/1395155180287631364.html\">meeting one<\/a> | <a href=\"https:\/\/threadreaderapp.com\/thread\/1395371005074358273.html\">meeting two<\/a>) summarizing some of the commentary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chicago Meters Montrose Harbor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Chicago turned on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcchicago.com\/news\/local\/new-parking-meters-at-montrose-beach-spark-divided-reaction-among-chicagoans\/2514496\/\">parking meters at a popular running destination<\/a> last week. The meters are part of a 9<a href=\"https:\/\/blockclubchicago.org\/2021\/05\/18\/paid-parking-meters-go-online-this-week-at-montrose-harbor-heres-where-they-will-be-installed\/\">2 meter expansion covering 750 parking stalls<\/a> in the city which may raise millions in revenue. Not everyone was happy about it, but <a href=\"https:\/\/chi.streetsblog.org\/2021\/05\/20\/driving-er-running-advocates-mourn-the-start-of-metered-parking-at-montrose-harbor\/\">claims that it would
